Nocellara olives have a buttery flesh with a mild nutty flavour. They are harder textured olives than black Kalamata and Mission olives, but still have a pleasant mouth feel. Serve Nocellara olives with sheep’s milk cheese and crisp white wine. Also work well with garlic and capers and anchovies.
